- Build your video from a blank canvas ✍️
- The script input screen now has a
Start from a blank canvas option, so you can get going without pasting a script or uploading a file.
- Pick a language, template, and avatar, and you land in the video editing screen with a single empty cut ready to fill. Defaults are pre-selected, so clicking
Next is all it takes to get there.
- Already have your script or storyboard mapped out? Skip the wait for AI generation and type in the structure you had in mind, starting from the very first cut.
- Add as many scenes and cuts as you need, and switch scene types as you go.
- Duplicate a project exactly as it is 📋
- Click the duplicate button at the right end of any row in your project list, and the project is copied. The original stays untouched.
- Your script, template, avatar and voice settings, and the entire storyboard all carry over to the copy.
- Set up one project just the way you like to work, then duplicate it and change only the content inside. It makes series and recurring announcement videos far quicker to produce.
- Copies are named automatically with a running number, like

New
[V-GEN]
- Add your own background music (BGM) 🎵
- From the
BGM button at the top of the video editing screen, upload an MP3 or WAV file to play background music across your entire video.
- Adjust the volume to your liking, and preview it alongside the narration to find the right balance.
- Fade-in/out and length matching (smooth looping when the track is shorter than the video) are handled automatically — no audio editing tools required.
- Adjust narration speed for each cut ⚡
- A speed option now sits next to the narration player in cut editing. Choose anywhere from 0.7x to 1.2x, and set it differently for each cut.
- Create faster or slower delivery without rewriting your script.
- The new speed plays back instantly in preview and carries through to your final video.
Improved
[V-GEN]
- Choose how letterbox areas are filled 🖼️
- When a reference clip's aspect ratio differs from the cut, you can now fill the empty space with a
Blurred background or leave it as a Black background.
- With
Blurred background, pick the blur strength — Strong, Medium, or Light. The sample thumbnail updates instantly as you switch, so you can compare the effect at a glance.
- Set it per cut — especially handy for tutorials and training videos where the screen needs to stay crisp and clear.
- Set the playback order for video reference clips ⏱️
- For cuts with a video reference clip, choose whether it plays
at the same time as the narration, before narration, or after narration.
- Clips used to always play together with the narration — now you can arrange your explanation and visuals in whatever order you like.
- In cuts with an avatar, while the clip plays on its own (before or after), the avatar pauses its speech and simply holds a subtle idle motion.

New
[V-GEN]
- Now you can create video reference clips right inside V-GEN 🎬
- The
AI Generation tab now has a Video option. Just describe the scene you want, and V-GEN creates a video reference clip on the spot.
- Attach a single image to use it as the video's opening frame, or as a style and mood reference.
- Pick the aspect ratio, resolution, and length to get exactly the format you need.
- No more bouncing between separate tools — you can now go all the way from script to finished video clips in one place.
- Each generated video is saved to your My Library, so you can keep working while it's being created and drop it into any cut once it's ready.
